Lew Mar Bow Thruster 185TT  5KW  12V

This bow thruster was factory Installed on my Grady White 360 Express. This year it seemed to lose some of its power so I ordered a complete replacement thruster. After placing the order, I was told it most likely only needs a new brush kit and battery but the order was already sent. I am told the brushes wear down and no longer make good contact causing the motor to lose some of its power. Apparently this is very common after a few years of use. Regardless, I went ahead and replaced the upper motor unit (4 Bolts) and the battery. I did not need the lower unit or tube mounting brackets so those items are brand new. This package come with the following:

• 1 Lewmar Bow Thruster Motor 185TT 5KX 12V – USED
• 1 Tube Mounting Bracket NEW
• 1 Lower Unit NEW
• 1 Gasket for lower Unit NEW
• 1 Joystick – USED
• 1 Length of cable – from motor to joystick. NOTE: You may need to order additional cable as this one is only about 8 to 10ft in length

You will need to purchase the following items to complete a new installation:

• 1 Hull Tube – I had one so I did not need this part
• Additional Cable – Available at any Lewmar Dealership
• 1 Propeller – I kept the one they sent so I could change mine out when we pull her from the water
• 1 Battery – Lewmar recommends an Odyssey Extreme AGM Batteries in a Group 31 Size.
