Italian-made 2-blade feathering
20Deployed blades

Saillar’s “Max Prop” is the one that started it all. This Italian-made propeller is a 2-blade feathering prop. It will fit shaft diameter 3/4 to 1 1/8″. Fully adjustable pitch. It can also be set for right or left hand-turning shaft. Zirc grease-gun fitting. Feathering props have low drag and are as effective in reverse as in forward gear.

  1. Hi, is this prop still available? I am looking for a 18”x12”x1” L.H. Martec or 161⁄2”x11”x1” L.H. Gori, or equivalent. Thanks

Yes, prop is still available. It is 20″ dia and blades can be set to any pitch.
    Shaft can accept 3/4- 1 1/8″.

If this suits your needs, pls let me know. Give me your zip code and I can get a shipping cost.

    Hope that helps.

  3. Hi,
Will this fit 30mm shaft on 1993 Beneteau First 38s5? Thx

    30 mm = 1.18”. 1 1/8” = 28.57 mm

Since your shaft is slightly larger than prop aperture, the prop hub would need to be reamed to fit. There is more than enough material to allow this minor trim. I would discuss that with a rigger or machinist as to the best solution.
