   Hi Mike,

   I haven’t been able to post pictures with my ads. I browse and select pictures from my files but they dissappear when I click the “continue” button. Is there some point that I am missing?

     Could your file size be to big. Try reducing the file size. I just tested the featureand it worked the file was under 500 px

     If it is too big for fedex or UPS then a frieght company could ship. We have had a user ship a mast to Chile, so anything is possible. Lookup frieght company in your area and ask them. What is it and what are the weight and dimensions. Mike

   Suggest you add a feature that will alert subscriber of any newly added equipment so he can visit the site and view that newly added item.

     Will do plan on our 3rd upgrade to add a RSS feed, you can sign up for the feed and see automatic ad updates.

   EBAY USES PAYPAL TO INSURE THAT THE GOODS AND FUNDS ARE EXCHANGED .

      Yes offer is still there, regardless renewing ads is for the same terms as originally set. Login and just relist your ad on the dashboard

        Thanks Mike. I posted an ad there today – It kinda fits since it is a book, but it’s not a perfect fit since while the book is sailing/cruising related, it is not navigation related.

    Mike,

    Great site, some good deals. I come here, but I don’t remember as often as I would like. Is there a way to receive an email notification of every new ad, so I don’t have to remember to visit, and look through every category for new items?

      Harry, thanks for the comment. At the moment we are not planning e mail notifcations. If the demand is there we may at a later date. Right now there are two ways of seeing the latest ads. The just listed tab on the home page and the RSS feed.

      If you use RSS feeds just click on the feed on the top black tool bar. See image.
      

      If you want to read the feed just sign up for a reader like Google or there are thousand of others. With the RSS reader you can see the latest ads without having to visit the site. You can sign up for hosts of other RSS feeds and keep up to date with news.

      The way the systems works is that a seller buys an ad for 30 days. If he sells the item before the 30 days he can marked the ad as sold so anyone looking will know even though the ad is still live. Once the ad gets to the 30 days it is removed.

      What are the size of the images. If they are too big they will not load. Try making them smaller, under 1300 pix.
      For interest sake, what are the other used parts sites?

    the other part sites are ebay, and craigslist. my pictures are 1026kb, thats under your 1300kb. i have one comment awaiting moderation? i click on it and it says access denied, sent to wordpress back-office? what does that mean?

      For now you can post the whisker pole in Mast Booms & Poles. When we get enough specific for wooden boats we will add categories for that. Just put in keywords; wooden or wood whisker pole.

      Trailers are under small craft. We do not have a melges trailer. I have asked my contacts if anyone knows of one, I’ll let you know if I find one.
